Frequently asked questions
Can I charge my electric car from solar?
Yes. Daytime generation can be routed straight to the charger, and in hybrid systems it can be stored and used at night. If you can charge at home during the day, your share of self-generated energy is highest.
What size system does a villa need?
Without an electric vehicle, 8–12 kWp is typical. With one, 15,000–20,000 km a year means roughly 3,000–4,000 kWh of extra consumption, which calls for another 2.5–3 kWp.
Does the system keep working during a power cut?
Standard grid-connected systems shut down during an outage for safety reasons. In hybrid systems the battery takes over and selected circuits — lighting, refrigerator, internet — keep running.
Will the panels spoil the look of the house?
With full-black panels and mounting profiles matched to the roof colour, the array sits discreetly. The layout is produced during the survey and shared with you visually before installation.
